Well I know for sure that he took some of the smilies from this board to use them on his without asking, the grey colored smiles came with the Apocalypse style exclusively and he is using them. Just ask him if we can use that one first...

I will ask him Odil. I guess my ignorance was showing big time, I assumed that there really couldnt be a copyright on a smile as he had to get it from somewhere, but again, I will be sure and ask him.

No problem. I know some of the smilies people get very upset if you don't ask permission first if they made them anyways. I know in the past I simply took them myself but I have been thinking twice now...since the whole copyright thing...

It just never dawned on me to ask about smilies. To be honest, smilies and those prefab avatars are the only things on any of my sites that are not 100% original. Never used a theme pack so didn't stop to think they could be exclusive.

It's ok, they just came as part of the Apocalypse style which I paid for. The guy who made the style designed everything, smilies, buttons, template mods....everything.
