Near You Think Forum

Quite simply.... its DEAD! Has anyone been watching the # of posts /replys made there since the board crashed and we rebuilt? Go look at the dates and # of posts made.

With Ant and his band of "deep thinkers" and the gripers and complainers of this board gone , it seems to serve no purpose anymore.

PHOTO posts however are at an all time high.

Its my thought that NEAR YOU THINK , should be removed and replaced with another Picture forum. Possibly a "Candids" forum or bring back "famous faces" (but PLEASE dont combine them again)

I think this would make a cleaner looking board , right now so many pic posts are being made daily , stuff can get knocked to page two very quickly.

Near You Think is at this pont just taking up valuable space in my opinion. Ive never made any suggestions concerning the board on this level , but this is something Ive been thinking about a lot this week.

Id like to know what the others here think.

btw , Id like to point out that while the Post in Near You Think , about "is it ok for a grown man to have feelings for a younger Girl" post has a lot of views and replies . MOST of those were made before I moved it from General.

The "hottest" thread in Near You Think right now is "what is a pooka" :P

I say just elliminate the forum...I however would not put a seperate forum for pictures as whenever that happens it splits the group up too much...and I get lonely:(

I agree with Jamie and Daddy:

The near you think fourm is the one that started all the trouble and usually what you get is a bunch of stupid people with a dictionary and www.dictionary.com (http://www.dictionary.com) to come in and post the "truths" or you get people that say facts are actually their own misguided beliefs.

I dont think the pic forum should be split up. When they are, I never see whats going on in the regular section as I am a candid photographer. There are a great many posts I would have missed had the two not been together.

Maybe the famous faces should go there in that spot. Odil you have made it clear that this board is all about eye candy. And for the record these are the thoughts and views of someone that is on an extended (2hour) lunch break. I suppose I should get going.....nah 1/2hour then I will

I would prefer to seeing the "Famous Faces" forum revied as well.
I always enjoyed that Forum on the old board.

But NOT replacing it with something else , defeats the purpose. The whole reasom I suggested doing away with NEAR YOU THINK , was to replace it with a picture forum to help remove some of the congestion from the ONLY picture post on the board.

I dont think the celebrity posts really belong in with the NN pix , which is why I think it should be replaced with the "Famous Faces" forum... It was me in fact that first suggested to Jay that a forum for celebrity pix should be made , LONG ago when I was new on the board. I just feel that they are way out of place in the NN forums.

We need to face facts.... THIS is the most popular forum of its type on the web , and as more and more people begin to Post Photos , there will be a real NEED to sort them out in some way.
