i've lost everything...

i haven't been on much lately, one reason is school, the other is that a couple days, my harddrive crashed and i lost everything from my computer.

1800+ mp3s are gone...
all my cool pics and artwork i've done is gone...
all the work (school work and such) that i've done in the past 5 years is gone...
all my favourites are gone...
all my contacts (icq, msn, email, etc) are gone...
my next mega pic post which i was planning to post this weekend is gone...

i was quite upset...

i guess i have less distractions from school now, though...

moral of this story:

backup your important stuff damnit!

Damn, thats a shame! I would like to see your artwork, so its a shame you'd lost it.
I've experienced such a thing too, I luckeliy had backups of all my mail and pics. But I lost all my mp3's and movies. And such things are a bith to download again..

sorry to hear about your harddrive crashing....I've started to back-up everything after I lost 100+ digital pics from a memory card a few months back....

ouch. :rdevil: I know, i know.....you probably ain't in the freakin mood for some damn philosophizing but......man's greatest shit happened after a big fuckin mistake. As a matter of fact,m the more embarassing and EXTREMELY stupid mistakes you do(sometimes purposely) the more you get to love your failures.....which acccidentally(magically actually) lead to something fresh.

ahhh fresh like the morning fresh dew on some fictional slender girl who's lying on your hacienda's front lawn becomin one with the salty earth that i love. Ooooh remember that scene in "what's it called with ROBIN WILLIAMS....CIRCA early 80s" where his wife finds him deflowering some youngin in the haystack. mmmmm definitely felt a poke in my corduroy jeans bakc then....... GOT A PROBLEM WITH corduroy 'always swishin" pants?? HUH!!!!:patch:

I highly recommend lettign it all go, man. especially the school work. :google: CAn i say it's happened to me? How the hell woud i know....i've given up on the whole long term memory thing. :jump: Back to......finding something to fill my time with between now and the next 5 hours. Oh, yeah......i can worry about find ing a 2nd part time job.
