A couple of niggles

i'm just a lurker at the moment but hope to post a few pics in the future. but first i need to iron out a couple of niggles:- on this new board i have enabled "hyper links to pics" and although it works for most peoples posts there are some which it doesn't work! nameley "wolfmans thread"
why is this so?
also before the data base was lost the DATE used to appear in the message starter column, why no more?

I am not sure what you are talking about with hyperlinks, do you mean that the links are not underlined? This is a built in design of the Apocolypse style. Let me know is this was what you were talking about.

THe date thing has to be added in, by that I mean changing some of the code. I will do that today.

thanks Odil the date thing is great now, as for the "hyper link" thing though, it is where i can set up in my profile, to open the messages and rather than get all the pics to download on one page it just downloads an active link to the individual pics, very handy for dail up users like myself! i just click on each pic and they download individually.
I may have used the wrong term calling it a "hyper link" so I hope this clarifies things.
like I said it's very frustrating when i try to veiw WOLFMANS THREAD and have to wait forever for the page to download and even then it rarley downloads in full.
it just seems strange that most of the posts follow my settings but some don't!
could it be somthing to do with where the pics are hosted?

Go to your profile, select options, then look for this:
"Show image attachments and [img] code in Posts?"
Select no, then you will just get links.

You can go into "options" and set it to where all photos are displayed as Links , and you click on each one individually to view.

And also if you set your # of Replies displayed per page to 5 , you will have a much easier time.

HeeHee Me and Odil were answering at the same time.

I dont use Links , but I have my replies set at 5 per page and that helps a lot. Ive GOTTA see the pix instead of links tho :nobrain:

but i have had that "hyper link" set for my preferance and most of the time it works! why not on wolfmans thread?

I have no idea, it sould work on any post no matter what.

just a quick couple of questions again though, about your site this time and maybe a little personal. 1 what made you start this site up in the first place?, 2 does it make you money?, and 3 how do i post pics? (layman and remedial / computer elliterate terms understood only!)

I changed over to Hyper-links to check , and it pulled up Wolman's pix fine , so I honestly have no answer for you on that one.

Odil will have to tell you WHY she started the board , I can only tell you that it was origonaly a web site run By Odil and her sister Kim.

No this site doesnt make money , as a matter of fact Odil pays for it out of her own pocket , to bring to us all.

At the Top of each picture forum , there is a *sticky* that explains Posting rules and how to post photos.

Jaime got it all right, originally this was a huge NN pictures site. kim litteraly had 5,000 pictures of girls collected here on differant pages. The site got to be so slow because so many people came here she wanted to come up with something else to do. That's when she thought of the message board. The first one she ran failed horribly, it lasted not even a month and she closed it down then came the board you see now. Kim eventually had to go in the Israeli Army so I took over then

This board really doesn't make any money, it's just a fun thing and I have tried to make it the best NN BOard there is.
